Marc Prensky is one of the world¿s leading educational futurists and a permanently licensed New York City high school teacher, who has taught at all levels from elementary through college. He taught math and reading for four years at Benjamin Franklin High School (formerly a public high school in East Harlem, NY City) and student-taught at the elementary and junior high levels in New Haven, Connecticut¿s public and private schools. Prensky also directed and taught at a storefront "Street Academy" for high school dropouts in East Harlem, New York City, and taught at Wagner College on Staten Island. He is a regular columnist for Educational Technology magazine. A fulltime consultant and popular keynoter, he is now working with schools and teachers at all levels across the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
