John Clark is a musicologist and performing musician in the Boston area. He has been teaching college music courses since 2005-primarily at Connecticut College. He is also a saxophone teacher, performer, and has led his own Wolverine Jazz Band since 1995, playing numerous national jazz festivals and concerts. He has been published in American Music, The International Association of Jazz Record Collectors Journal, The Journal of the Music Library Association,and elsewhere. Bill Devall was in the Department of Sociology, Humboldt State University from 1968-1995 and Professor Emeritus from 1995-2009. Genevieve Lloyd is Emerita Professor at the Australian Academy of Humanities and an agenda-setting philosopher. The first woman appointed to a professorship in philosophy at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, she was previously Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Australian National University.
Lloyd is the author of 10 monographs with leading academic publishers; most recently published: 'Reading Spinoza in the Anthropocene' (2024). Her work is translated in 8 languages. |
