Joyce A. Youings is emeritus professor of history at the University of Exeter. She earned B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of London. Dr. Youings is a distinguished scholar of Elizabethan history and has authored/edited such noteworthy books as Dissolution of the Monasteries, Letters of Sir Walter Ralegh, and Sixteenth Century England (Pelican Social History of England Series).
