Project Therianthrope has changed Phoenix. While he might still have a killer smile, he's now also equipped with murderous claws and stripes-and lots of questions.

Researching online leads him to legends of tiger shifters in Malaysia. Wanting to know more about his condition, he stows aboard a container ship and sets out on a quest for answers, only to end up in a zoo!

Luckily, he's not caged for long, as he reveals himself to Nadirah, the zoo's tiger keeper. She's offered to help him find out more about her country's striped shifters, a task made difficult because of those hunting Phoenix.

Will Phoenix find the answers he seeks, or will he settle for a hidden life with the beautiful Nadirah by his side?
