Chambers horror classic of the same title on the other. Designed and illustrated by award-winning artist Jeff Wong.Sid Feelings, a successful children's entertainer, is trapped in a modern nightmare. She’s canceled when a man with whom she shares a name commits a heinous crime. The trouble is only beginning when she hires a mysterious specialist to salvage what’s left of her career.
On the flip side of this sumptuously illustrated volume is the horror classic that inspired Ed Park: Robert W. Chambers's "The Repairer of Reputations," the groundbreaking tale of paranoia and obsession that launched
The King in Yellow. With stunning illustrations by Jeff Wong, award-winning illustrator of
Weird Tales magazine.
A lush, lavishly illustrated dual-sided volume juxtaposing the classic Robert Chambers horror story that introduced the King in Yellow with a new story by Pulitzer Prize finalist Ed Park.
A dual-sided volume of novella length. On one side will be a hitherto unpublished short story, “The Repairer of Reputations,” by Pulitzer finalist Ed Park. On the other side will be Robert W. Chambers’s public domain short story that inspired it, “The Repairer of Reputations,” the first story in the cult classic THE KING IN YELLOW collection. The volume will be illustrated—we’d like to discuss package elements right now at launch so we can hire the right art team. The two stories are in no way related. Ed Park will also include a framing/introductory essay to the Chambers story.
