Áine Ní Ghlinn is an award-winning bilingual lecturer, journalist, poet, playwright and children's author. She has published over thirty books, including four poetry collections and numerous works for young readers. After early careers in secondary teaching and broadcasting with RTÉ and Raidió na Gaeltachta, she went on to lecture at Dublin City University before becoming a full-time writer. Her work has received multiple Oireachtas prizes, the Gradam Réics Carló award (twice), an IBBY award, and other major honors. She currently divides her time between writing, teaching at the Church of Ireland College of Education, and leading workshops in Irish-language schools. Áine was Laureate na nÓg (Irish Children's Literature Laureate) from 2020 to 2023, the first to write exclusively in the Irish language. Andrew Whitson is an award-winning artist, author, publisher, and Belfast native who likes to be called Mr Ando! He lives in an old house nestled on the side of a misty hill, at the edge of a magic wood, below an enchanted castle, in the shadow of a giant's nose. He first began working as a professional artist at the age of sixteen, where he painted rock band album covers onto the backs of denim jackets for a fee of $13 each, which proved lucrative at that time. Andrew has illustrated over thirty books.
