Beckett stood behind the counter of Javawocky Cafe and Bakery. She looked out at the handful of customers. Javawocky was located in the sleepy village of Castle Combe, England. It was well known that people came from all over England just to drink her coffee and eat her baked goods. She baked her own pastries, gathered ingredients from her garden behind the shop and personally roasted every coffee bean. She had never been trained in the culinary world, but she wanted every ingredient to be the freshest and best around.
