Llewellyn E. Piper, PhD, was raised on a cotton farm in South Carolina and graduated from The Citadel. He holds four master's degrees in Psychology, Personnel Management, Healthcare Administration, and Education, along with a PhD in Clinical Psychology. A US Army officer for 21 years, he served as CEO of a community hospital for over 16 years and taught Psychology at Campbell University for more than 20 years. Dr. Piper has presented leadership lectures at international healthcare conferences and authored numerous journal articles. His memoir, "The Sound of the Whippoorwill," reflects his rich experiences. He resides in Florida with his wife, two adult children, and four grandchildren.
