For years, Gaye Hemsley has inspired both children and adults as a passionate dance teacher. She believes that dancing and writing share a joyful rhythm-both fueled by imagination and creativity. A prolific storyteller, Gaye has published several picture books, and her love for words started early: on her seventh birthday, she published a book of poems reflecting her young life. Many of her best ideas strike in the quiet hours of the night, so she always keeps a pen and paper close at hand. Walks through nature spark even more inspiration, and whenever a poem comes to her mid-stroll, she quickly sends it to herself via mobile phone.
