Reprimands and Admonitions (Chingbirok) is a record of the events surrounding the Japanese invasion of Korea later known as the Imjin War (1592-1598). The author, government minister Ryu Songnyong, vividly portrays all the major developments of the crisis, as well as the men who were involved in it.
