Janani Amarasuriya was born in 1969 in Sri Lanka. In 1982, she migrated to Australia with her parents and younger sister, beginning a new chapter of her life. Janani is a qualified chemist, having dedicated 30 years to working in the pharmaceutical industry. Her role as a regulatoryscientist enabled her to contribute meaningfully to the field before she had to stop working due to illness. Janani now enjoys writing books and painting as hobbies. She leads a peaceful life in Sydney, Australia, sharing her home with her beloved cat, Archie.
