Clark Selby turned to fiction writing while caring for his first wife, Patricia, who was paralyzed by central nervous system vasculitis. After more than fifty years of marriage, he remained her full-time caregiver until her passing. Before writing, he spent twenty-five years traveling as a consultant and executive in the parking industry, working across six continents. He held leadership roles in major parking organizations, earning the "E" Award for Excellence in Exporting from the U.S. President.Beyond his career, Clark taught at an international trade seminar in the Soviet Union and led a parking study in Australia. He was recognized in Marquis Who's Who in the World (1991-1999) and Who's Who in America (1996-1999). Clark and his wife, Karen, reside in Springfield, Missouri.
