Barry wants to create a comfortable place for books and two companions at Maple Leaf House. Using identical blocks placed edge to edge, he determines how much room the group will need. His first location is too narrow, and another is not deep enough. By measuring consistently and comparing the results, Barry finds a better area where everyone fits comfortably and the nearby walkway remains open.
