Ward Clark is a red-blooded American writer, U.S. Army veteran, and longtime advocate for individual liberty, property rights, and limited constitutional government. Born and raised in the woods and hills of northeastern Iowa, Ward volunteered for military service as a young man, following a family tradition that stretches back to World War I and II. He served as an officer and still honors the oath he took decades ago. He has lived a life across America, from Iowa to San Antonio, Texas, to Newport News, Virginia, and then thirty years in the Denver, Colorado area, where he and his wife raised their family.
