Chief Curator and Curator of the Department of History of the Glenbow-Alberta Institute in Calgary and Adjunct Professor of History at the University of Calgary, Hugh A. Dempsey is the author and editor of many books and the editor of Alberta History. He holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Calgary and in 1975 was presented with the Order of Canada.
